President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a three-state tour on Saturday, visiting Borno, Bauchi and Lagos States before concluding in Lagos for his end-of-year holidays.
The President’s itinerary, outlined by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, begins in Borno State, where Tinubu will commission key federal and state projects in partnership with Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s administration.
While in Maiduguri, he is also scheduled to attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno Governor and Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, to Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Borno, Tinubu will travel to Bauchi State to offer condolences over the passing of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the esteemed Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who died on November 27.
The President is expected to meet with the Bauchi State Government and the family of the late cleric to pay his respects.
The tour will conclude in Lagos, where the President will spend the festive season, engaging in public and cultural events while marking the end of the year.
