Popular TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has spoken about the distressing experience he went through during a one-week detention following his arrest after a car accident on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
Peller was taken into custody after his vehicle crashed while he was on a live stream. Addressing the incident, the content creator stated that the crash was not intentional.
Reflecting on his time in detention, Peller described the period as mentally and physically exhausting. He revealed that he struggled to eat properly and found it difficult to come to terms with his situation while in custody.
The TikToker also expressed disappointment over what he described as a lack of support from several public figures. According to him, despite reaching out for help, only a few people in the entertainment space responded during his ordeal.
“I called on many celebrities to help my life,” he said, adding that the silence made him feel abandoned and deeply discouraged.
Despite the challenges, Peller acknowledged the unwavering support of his fans. He credited them for speaking up on his behalf and standing by him throughout the incident, noting that their loyalty played a key role during one of the most difficult moments of his life.
