Nigerian TikToker Peller has recounted a frightening experience after a generator fire broke out at his residence in the early hours of Saturday.
The content creator shared a video of the incident on Instagram, showing flames engulfing the generator. In the footage, he appears visibly shaken as he calls for help while efforts are made to contain the fire.
According to his post, the blaze was eventually put out using buckets of water after more than 30 minutes. Although the generator was completely destroyed, the house and everyone inside were unharmed.
“This happen early this morning, my new generator almost burn down my new house, but God saved us,” he wrote in the caption, expressing gratitude that the situation did not escalate.
Fans and followers flooded the comment section with messages of relief, crediting the quick response for preventing further damage.
The incident comes months after Peller was involved in a road accident along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, which occurred during a livestream.
