Three people sustained third-degree burns following a suspected gas explosion that led to a partial residential building collapse in Doornfontein, Johannesburg.
Reports indicate the incident occurred on Lower Ross Street, between Beacon Street and Angle Street, in the New Doornfontein area.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene and remain on site.
Authorities urged motorists and pedestrians to steer clear of the area.
“Avoid the area and use alternate routes until the scene is cleared,” emergency officials warned.
