Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has dismissed suggestions that his side are in the Premier League title race, despite their impressive 3-0 victory over Everton on Sunday.
Goals from Micky van de Ven, who scored twice, and a late strike from Pape Matar Sarr secured all three points for Spurs, lifting them to third place behind Arsenal and Bournemouth on the league table.
When asked if Tottenham could mount a title challenge this season, Frank maintained that it was too early to make such claims.
“No. I think there’s probably a few teams that are ahead of us,” Frank told reporters after the match.
“I think it’s fair to say that I’m only thinking of one day, one game at a time. And let’s see where we are in April.”
The win marked another solid performance from Tottenham, who continue to show consistency under Frank’s leadership.
