Nigerian music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, has publicly apologised to his children, their mothers, and his family, admitting to causing emotional hurt in the past.
In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram on Friday, Teebillz revealed that the death of his mother in June 2024 triggered a period of deep self-reflection and remorse.
He wrote:
“After all the pain and loss, losing my mother broke me, but it also woke something in me. To my kids, their mothers, my family, and my loved ones… I’m sorry for the hurt I caused. I’m trying and trusting God to fix what I can’t.”
Teebillz, who manages several Afrobeats artists, has long been a prominent figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry. He shares a son with singer Tiwa Savage, his ex-wife, and has children with other partners.
Over the years, his personal life has drawn public attention, notably his 2016 marital crisis and subsequent divorce from Tiwa Savage, moments he has since acknowledged as difficult chapters in his life.
His latest post has drawn mixed reactions online, with many fans commending his vulnerability and openness about personal growth and forgiveness.
