Former Big Brother Naija housemate Natacha Akide has celebrated her latest achievement after receiving plaques from Guinness World Records for setting new records in cosmetic makeovers.
The reality TV star and entrepreneur completed 82 makeovers in eight hours and 143 makeovers in 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 64 makeovers in eight hours.
Sharing photos of the plaques on Instagram, Tacha described the accomplishment as the result of years of dedication to her craft.
She noted that the achievement was not only about speed but also about persistence and growth built over a decade of work.
“This wasn’t just about speed… it was about impact, dedication, and a decade of showing up for my craft,” she wrote, reflecting on ten years of building her career in the beauty industry.
Dedication to Late Mother
Tacha also used the moment to honour her late mother, Stella, who passed away 12 years ago.
According to the reality star, her mother played a major role in teaching her the skills that eventually shaped her career in makeup artistry.
She expressed emotional gratitude, saying she wished her mother could witness the milestone.
“Every step, every win, every milestone… I wish I could run to you and say, ‘Mummy, see what I did,’” she wrote.
‘Just Getting Started’
Now recognised as the fastest makeup artist in the world, Tacha said the record represents a significant chapter in her journey but not the end of her ambitions.
The former reality TV personality also thanked supporters, including Lagos State authorities, for their encouragement throughout the challenge.
Despite the global recognition, Tacha said she remains focused on future goals, describing the achievement as only the beginning of a new phase in her career.
“Makeup was my first love,” she wrote. “The passion has now birthed two Guinness World Records.”
