Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has issued a stern warning to Nollywood actor Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami, following comments the actor made about his late father.
Lege Miami had recently critiqued several Nigerian national team players after their failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. While praising Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Fredrick, and Calvin Bassey, he singled out Nwabali for harsh criticism, referencing the goalkeeper’s late father, whose funeral he had recently attended.
In response, Nwabali took to Instagram Stories, demanding that Lege Miami remove his father’s name from his content. “If you don’t learn to respect people’s dad, you should respect the dead. I’m not your regular type of footballer. I go beat you mercilessly. You’re free to insult me, but remove my late dad’s name from your mouth,” he wrote.
Hours later, Lege Miami reshared Nwabali’s post and insisted the goalkeeper owes Nigerians an apology. “@nwabali32 you come to my DM to insult my personality due to I corrected your mistakes; anyway, all I want to say is for you to make an apology video for Nigerians,” he stated.
The exchange has sparked widespread attention online, highlighting tensions between sports figures and content creators over public criticism.
