The Super Eagles are set to resume training tonight in Rabat after boycotting Tuesday’s session over unpaid bonuses and allowances.
According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, the training session will commence at 5 p.m. local time.
The players had earlier refused to train in protest of outstanding payments, but following closed-door talks involving senior players, the technical crew, and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials, the team agreed to continue preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs.
The Super Eagles will face the Panthers of Gabon in the first semi-final of the African playoffs on Thursday at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat.
Kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. Nigerian time.
