
The Super Eagles will depart Polokwane for Uyo on Saturday morning (today) aboard a chartered flight following their 2-1 victory over Lesotho in Friday night’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday nine encounter at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The flight is scheduled to leave South Africa at 8 a.m. Nigerian time.
Head coach Eric Chelle’s men will face neighbours Benin Republic in their final qualifying game on Tuesday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The Super Eagles need a big win to stand any chance of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
