Nollywood actress Sunshine Rosman has shared her candid thoughts on love and marriage, stressing that commitment and intentionality should be at the heart of any relationship.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Open Up podcast, Rosman advised that people who are not ready to stay committed have no business getting married.
“Some people are just not made for marriage. Not everyone should be married. Some people are not willing to put in the work and some don’t just want it. So, it is not by force,” she said.
According to the actress, marriage demands genuine effort and purpose.
“My stance is that anything worth doing is worth doing well. So if you’re going to do something, put your heart into it. If you’re not going to do it, then don’t do it,” she added.
Rosman revealed that her desire to get married stems from the strong example set by her parents, whose enduring relationship continues to inspire her and her siblings.
Her remarks have since sparked conversation online about modern relationships, self-awareness, and the importance of readiness before saying “I do.”
