Nigerian forward Stephen Odey is preparing to bring his time at Danish Superliga outfit Randers FC to a close after spending four and a half years with the club. The striker is set to depart the East Jutland side as his current contract is due to expire at the end of this month.
Odey, 27, first arrived at Randers during the 2021/2022 season on an initial loan deal that included an option for a permanent transfer. After impressing during his loan spell, the Danish club exercised the option and tied him down to a full contract.
Throughout his stay, Odey established himself as a key attacking figure, scoring 28 goals in 129 appearances for Randers across all competitions. His contributions have been significant to the club’s performances in domestic football over the years.
With his deal coming to an end, the Nigerian striker is now expected to complete a move to a new club when the January transfer window opens, as he looks to begin a fresh chapter in his professional football career.
