Nigerian media personality Stephanie Coker has announced the birth of her second child, a baby girl, sharing her emotional journey of hope, faith, and perseverance after five years of waiting.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Coker described her newborn as “our answered prayer” and “our long-awaited gift,” expressing gratitude to God for blessing her family once again.
“Morayo Anaya Olabisi Abisola Anjolaoluwa. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and joy. Our August visitor, our answered prayer, our long-awaited gift,” she wrote.
The proud mother reflected on the challenges she faced before conceiving her second child, describing the experience as a journey filled with “faith, surrender, tears, and hope.”
“It has been five years of waiting and a long process. Ariella is now a big sister, and watching them grow together makes the journey all the more worth it. Welcome, our precious girl. You are loved beyond words, and your name speaks of joy, grace, and heritage,” she added.
Coker has previously been open about her struggles with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a condition that affects women’s fertility. She conceived her first child, Ariella, through IVF in 2019, but later revealed that a second IVF attempt ended in heartbreak.
In a 2024 interview with Chude Jideonwo, she spoke candidly about the emotional toll of infertility, admitting that her failed IVF cycle once left her feeling “heartbroken and suicidal.”
Beyond her personal story, Coker has used her platform to raise awareness about PCOS and infertility. She produced a documentary titled “Where The Heck Is My Period?”, which explores her journey while featuring insights from gynecologists, religious leaders, public figures, and traditional healers.
Her latest announcement has drawn an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues who have followed her inspiring journey to motherhood.
