Nollywood filmmaker and media personality Stanley Ontop has responded to a petition filed against him by actor Frederick Leonard.
According to reports from journalists, Leonard approached the Delta State Police Command, accusing Ontop of persistent defamation.
Reacting to the development, Stanley Ontop said he has not yet received an official invitation from the police regarding the matter.
Threatening legal action, Ontop declared on Instagram that the dispute would be settled in court. “See y’all in court. I’m waiting for the police invitation. Ontop no small,” he wrote, signalling his readiness to fight the allegations legally.
The exchange highlights a growing legal tension between the two Nollywood figures, with fans and industry watchers closely monitoring the unfolding situation.
