Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has publicly praised his fiancée, Janet Atom, for her influence in helping him stay disciplined and focused despite the distractions that come with fame.
In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, the ‘Who’s Your Guy’ crooner described Janet as his “Jesus baddie,” expressing gratitude for how she has positively transformed his life.
“Eiii God! My very own Jesus baddie @_callme_njure,” Spyro wrote. “Thank you again for saving me from Lekki girls o, na me know wettin my eyes see.”
Spyro revealed that before meeting Janet, he struggled with temptation and attention from women, especially around Lagos’ Lekki area. He credited his fiancée for helping him stay true to his values and focused on his career.
The singer recently got engaged to Janet Atom, whom he met at a nightclub. Their engagement, announced in September, has since drawn warm reactions from fans and colleagues who congratulated the couple.
Spyro rose to fame with his chart-topping single “Who’s Your Guy”, which gained massive airplay across Nigeria and beyond, establishing him as one of Afrobeats’ breakout stars.
