Nigerian singer and songwriter, Spyro, has announced his engagement to fiancée, Janet Atom, revealing the unexpected circumstances that led to their meeting.
The “Who is Your Guy?” hitmaker shared the news on Friday through an Instagram post accompanied by engagement photos.
According to the 34-year-old artist, his love story began in March 2024 inside a Lagos nightclub. Spyro disclosed that he was at work when he crossed paths with Janet, describing the moment as a surprising twist of fate.
“I found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48 a.m. I met @_callme_njure in a Lagos club while at work,” he wrote.
Spyro, whose real name is Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, first rose to prominence in 2022 following the release of his breakout single Who is Your Guy?. The track became a nationwide anthem and cemented his status in the Nigerian music industry.
