South African singer Tyla has won her second Grammy after her song ‘Push 2 Start’ scooped the Best African Music Performance award.
The 24-year-old triumphed over stiff competition from African heavyweights including Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Davido, and Ugandan star Eddy Kenzo. Tyla previously won the same category in 2024 for her global hit ‘Water’.

It was also a memorable night for South Africa’s Trevor Noah, who hosted the main Grammy Awards ceremony for the sixth consecutive year.
