Nollywood actress Sola Kosoko Abina has opened up about the challenges of managing an acting career alongside other business ventures.
In a recent interview, Abina noted that acting is a highly demanding profession, leaving little room for additional enterprises. She recalled her own experience running a boutique that sold clothes, bags, and jewelry, which ultimately did not last.
“Acting doesn’t leave much room for other ventures,” she said. “The job demands so much time, and the only way to make it work is to have a competent and trustworthy person to manage the business while you are on set.”
Abina also emphasized the importance of family support, particularly from a spouse who understands the demands of the profession. “If you have an understanding husband who appreciates your profession, it becomes much easier. I met my husband even before I became very popular, so he understands my job very well,” she added.
Her candid reflections highlight the realities of juggling a high-profile career with entrepreneurial ambitions, underscoring the value of reliable support systems for success.
