Slavia Prague head coach, Jindrich Trpisovsky, has cautioned his players not to focus solely on Ademola Lookman as they prepare to face Atalanta in a UEFA Champions League fixture at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo on Wednesday night.
While acknowledging Lookman’s quality, Trpisovsky emphasized that Atalanta boasts several other dangerous players capable of influencing the game.
“He’s one of the inevitable players. Lookman is a star, but Atalanta is not only based on individuals,” Trpisovsky told Tutto Atalanta. “We also know Krstovic well; he showed great things in Slovakia.”
The 28-year-old Nigerian forward, who played a pivotal role for Atalanta last season, is still seeking his first goal of the current campaign.
Slavia Prague will be aiming to contain Atalanta’s attacking threats as both sides battle for crucial group-stage points.
