Popular Nigerian singer Skales has criticized socialite Cubana Chief Priest for politicizing the recent Palm Sunday attack in Plateau State.
The attack, which occurred on March 29, 2026, in Gari Ya Waye community, Angwan Rukuba, Jos, reportedly left several residents dead.
Cubana Chief Priest, a known supporter of President Bola Tinubu, claimed the incident, coinciding with the President’s birthday, was orchestrated by opposition forces to embarrass Tinubu.
Skales condemned the remarks, accusing the socialite of losing his humanity and prioritizing political narratives over the lives of innocent citizens. He stated, “This guy is delusional. I can’t believe he said that. Life’s lost and all you care about is the President being embarrassed. I cannot believe you sat down and wrote this shit. Where is your conscience. You have kids don’t you?”
Other Nigerian celebrities, including Mr Macaroni, Ice Prince, and Peter Okoye, have also criticized the government for failing to protect citizens from such attacks.
