Nigerian singer Spyro has publicly praised his fiancée, Janet Atom, describing her as “truly a wife material” due to her practical and thoughtful approach to finances.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Spyro recounted how Janet influenced his financial decisions. He had initially planned to purchase a Cybertruck, but Janet advised him to invest in real estate instead, citing the high maintenance cost of the luxury vehicle.
“Everything changed when I met her. I remember planning for a car, and I wanted a Cybertruck so badly. I told her I was going to the car lot, and while I kept talking about where to park it and the color, she said, ‘We do not need a Cybertruck. Have you thought of the cost of maintenance? Why not invest the money in real estate?’ I smiled and immediately knew I bagged a real one,” Spyro wrote.
He also highlighted Janet’s insistence on smart spending during their travels, noting that she prefers to save money or invest rather than splurge on luxury perks.
“Or how she never allows me to get her Business class tickets anytime we are flying. She will say, ‘Give me the money, let me put it in my business.’ So on all our flights, I have to leave my business class seat to exchange with the person sitting beside her in economy. Truly a wife material,” he added.
The singer officially announced their engagement on September 19, 2025, sparking celebrations among fans and fellow celebrities.
