Nigerian singer Qdot has shared a harrowing account of being robbed at gunpoint in his home, describing it as the most frightening moment of his life.
The attack occurred around 2:00 a.m. on September 28, when armed robbers stormed his residence. Qdot’s official disc jockey, DJ FAYA, was also caught up in the incident.
In an emotional Instagram post, Qdot revealed that the assailants made away with all his valuable possessions, leaving him traumatized.
“It was the most terrifying experience of my life. At that moment, I genuinely didn’t know if I would make it out alive. But by the grace and mercy of God, I’m still here,” he wrote.
While expressing gratitude for his survival, the singer admitted he remains in shock and shaken by the ordeal. “They took everything valuable I owned, down to the last pin. But they didn’t take my life, and that alone is a blessing I don’t take for granted,” he added.
Qdot also thanked fans and colleagues for the overwhelming outpour of support, noting that their messages and calls have given him strength in the aftermath of the traumatic event.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the messages, calls, and outpouring of love. Your support means more than words can express. I love you all and I’ll be back, stronger and wiser,” he assured.
The singer emphasized that he is now safe, surrounded by love, and focused on healing from what he called a “nightmare.”
