In a rare case of sibling rivalry playing out in the political arena, a brother and sister are set to square it out in the upcoming Isiolo South parliamentary by-election, scheduled for later next month.
Tubi Mohamed and Bina Mohamed, both children of the late former Isiolo South MP Mohamed Tubi, will go head-to-head for the seat, with Tubi flying the UDA flag while Bina is running on a Jubilee Party ticket.
Despite sharing the same bloodline, neither candidate is willing to step aside, setting the stage for a high-stakes political showdown expected to dominate Isiolo South politics between now and the end of February.
