Nigerian singer Shallipopi has shared details of the difficulties he encountered while trying to establish himself in the country’s music scene.
The artiste, whose real name is Crown Uzama, said his early rise between 2023 and 2024 was marked by negative experiences with some colleagues in the industry. According to him, he faced hostility and a lack of support at a time when he was seeking acceptance.

Reflecting on his journey, the singer noted that the challenges ultimately strengthened him as he navigated his path to mainstream success.
