Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday received American online streamer and YouTube personality Kai Cenat at the Lagos House, Marina, during a courtesy visit.
Cenat, who is visiting Lagos for the second time, shared positive impressions of his experiences in the state, describing his stay as enjoyable and impactful.
The visit was confirmed by Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on New Media, who disclosed that the popular content creator is in Lagos to advance projects targeted at children and young people.
According to Gawat, the discussions focused on initiatives Cenat plans to execute in the state as part of his interest in youth-focused development and engagement.
“Kai Cenat is in Lagos to follow up on some projects and initiatives he plans to execute for kids and young people in Lagos State,” Gawat stated in a post on Wednesday.
Cenat’s visit comes amid growing global interest in Lagos as a cultural and creative hub, attracting international influencers, entertainers, and investors.
The American streamer has previously spoken publicly about his admiration for Lagos, noting the city’s energy, creativity, and youthful population.
