President William Ruto has expressed his confidence in defeating the United Opposition at the presidential ballot in 2027, saying his only fierce competitor was the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Ruto, who was in Western Kenya on a development tour, rallied the region to support his re-election bid and the broad-based government under his leadership.
The President also campaigned for the UDA candidate for Malava constituency by elections as the DCP counterpart dropped out of the race in support of Seth Panyako, who will fly the flag of the United Opposition during the November polls.
