Nigerian musician Ruger has stirred controversy online after sharing his opinion on women who undergo Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) cosmetic procedures.
In a post on X, Ruger suggested that women with BBLs tend to have “bad character.” Writing in pidgin English, he stated: “When I see girl with BBL I dey straight up think say dem get bad character. Be like the procedure dey come with small attitude and ogba.”
His comments quickly ignited debate on social media, with many users criticizing the singer for targeting women’s bodies and perpetuating stereotypes. Critics argue that cosmetic procedures should not be linked to personal character or morality.
The post reflects ongoing discussions in Nigeria and globally about body image, cosmetic enhancements, and societal expectations placed on women.
