Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has expressed unwavering love and loyalty to her husband, Olakunle Churchill, stating she would go to any lengths to protect him.
In a recent interview, Meurer described Churchill as supportive, affectionate, and consistently present in her life, qualities she values far more than material gifts.
“Oh, yes, and we love each other. Yes, me, I love Churchill. I love Churchill because I can take a bullet for him. At least he has proven to me he’s been by my side all this while. He has never abandoned me in any way. He’s always come through for me. He’s the father of my kids. He has not betrayed me,” Meurer said.
The Gambia-born actress explained that her attachment to Churchill predates their children, describing her feelings as “madly in love.” She dismissed claims that she prioritises her husband above all else, insisting her devotion stems from genuine care and respect for how he treats her.
“He treats me well. You would love who treats you well. I don’t demand much. Sweet talk and love are enough. Gifts are just a bonus,” she added.
Meurer’s statements come amid ongoing public speculation about her relationship with Churchill, who was previously married to Tonto Dikeh. She has denied any wrongdoing, insisting that her love is sincere and not motivated by material gain.
Her candid remarks shed light on her perspective of marriage, loyalty, and family, reinforcing the depth of her commitment to her husband and children.
