Brazilian football icon Romário has expressed a clear preference for Barcelona’s teenage prodigy Lamine Yamal over Real Madrid’s talismanic forward Vinícius Júnior. The former World Cup victor shared his high appraisal of the youngster’s technical ceiling during a recent dialogue with Real Madrid goalkeeping legend Iker Casillas, identifying Yamal as a standout figure in the sport’s modern era.
The endorsement follows a landmark season for Yamal, whose instrumental performances propelled Barcelona to a domestic LaLiga title, finishing ahead of their rivals from the capital.
