The ongoing rift between Nollywood star Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has taken a public and dramatic turn after Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, accused the politician of tarnishing their family’s name.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Rita Daniels launched a scathing attack on the Delta North senator, alleging that her daughter and the family played a major role in his political success.
She claimed that Regina contributed $50,000 to his election campaign, while she herself invested both money and effort to support his political ambitions.
“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down,” Rita said angrily in the video.
“Regina gave you $50k to support your election. We are covering up your shame and making you feel like an Odogwu. You’re mad,” she added.
The drama deepened when Regina Daniels herself took to social media to accuse Nwoko of ordering the arrest of her siblings in a bid to compel her to return to him and undergo “rehabilitation.”
Expressing her frustration, the 24-year-old actress questioned why their separation had turned hostile, insisting that she had tried to remain silent despite being publicly labelled a drug addict.
“I’ve endured so much in silence,” she wrote. “But I can’t keep pretending everything is fine when it’s not. Why must things get this bitter just because two people no longer want to be together?”
The public feud has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans and social media users divided over the couple’s worsening fallout and the Daniels family’s explosive revelations.
