Former England defender Rio Ferdinand has tipped four Manchester United players who, in his view, could force their way into Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City lineup.
According to Ferdinand, Bruno Fernandes, Leny Yoro, Bryan Mbuemo, and Matheus Cunha are good enough to feature for the treble winners.
Speaking to the newsmen, the ex-Man United captain admitted that City currently have the stronger squad:
“Bruno. I put Leny Yoro in there. I think he is going to be a standout this year. Mbeumo probably gets in there now. Cunha might have a chance. At the moment City have got a better squad than us, I think that is a fact.”
Ferdinand, however, insisted the gap between the two Manchester clubs is not unbridgeable.
