
Remo Stars and Kwara United have confirmed the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, as their adopted home ground for the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup campaigns, respectively.
Both clubs will kick off their continental campaigns this weekend.
Remo Stars’ Ikenne Stadium is currently undergoing renovation and unavailable for use, while the Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin was not approved by CAF.
Remo Stars will host US Zilimadjou of Comoros in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round fixture in Abeokuta on Sunday, with the reverse fixture also scheduled for the same venue.
Meanwhile, Kwara United will travel to Ghana to face Asante Kotoko in the first leg of their Confederation Cup tie on Sunday. The Harmony Boys will then host the Porcupine Warriors at the MKO Abiola Arena on Sunday, September 28.
