Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken publicly about the emotional toll of being separated from her children, Prince Munir and Prince Khalifa, amid ongoing marital tensions with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a video that has since gone viral, the actress was seen presenting her sons with gifts, including toys, clothes, and shoes. During the emotional moment, the children pleaded with her to return home.
“Mama, come back,” one of the children is heard saying, as Daniels reassured them, “I will come soon, OK.”
In the caption accompanying the video, Daniels addressed the pain she has been experiencing, noting that no mother can be at peace while apart from her children. She said she chose not to allow the situation to define or confine her, explaining that her decision to step away took time.
“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away,” she wrote.
The actress also questioned the motive behind her husband’s public sharing of images of the children, suggesting it may be more about public engagement than parental responsibility.
Reaffirming her devotion to motherhood, Daniels said she deeply misses her children and enjoys being a mother despite her young age.
“I may be young, but I am such a mum. I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum,” she added.
She concluded by expressing confidence that she would be reunited with her children, stating that she remains determined to see them again soon.
