Nigerian billionaire and politician Senator Ned Nwoko is reportedly linked to the arrest of Ann, a close friend of his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels.
Ann was taken into custody on Monday by police officers from the Ajah Division in Lagos State. According to Regina’s elder brother, Sammy Daniels, the arrest was executed under a court order charging Ann with conspiracy, assault, and theft.
Sharing a video of the arrest on Instagram, Sammy questioned the credibility of both the police and the judiciary, emphasizing that Ann had never been to Nwoko’s residence. “There was no time Ann was ever at Ned’s house. So how is there a court order to detain her for conspiracy, theft, and all? Omo. Nigeria has failed us,” he wrote.
Reports indicate that the arrests of Daniels’ relatives and associates began approximately two months ago, following her public allegations against Senator Nwoko regarding abuse and domestic violence.
The latest detention has intensified public debate, with many questioning the legal procedures surrounding the case and expressing concern over the targeting of individuals connected to Daniels.
As the situation develops, both fans and legal observers continue to monitor the unfolding dispute between the actress and the senator, highlighting ongoing concerns about accountability and justice in high-profile domestic cases in Nigeria.
