Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sharply criticized the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, after he publicly stated that she “needs help” amid her ongoing marital dispute with Senator Ned Nwoko.
Rollas, in a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday, had urged Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, to prioritize her daughter’s wellbeing instead of pursuing her ambition to contest the AGN presidency. He also questioned the silence of some Nollywood veterans over the couple’s highly publicized separation.
“Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair,” Rollas wrote.
Responding via her Instagram story, Regina Daniels rejected the claim, saying, “Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir, to say I need help?”
The actress went on to accuse the AGN president of financial impropriety and personal misconduct, alleging that he frequently visited offices “to enrich his pocket” under the pretext of supporting actors. She also claimed he once brought women to her family home for “swimming lessons,” which she said contributed to his supposed resentment toward her.
Regina and Ned Nwoko’s marital issues escalated earlier after a viral video showed the actress accusing the senator of domestic violence. Nwoko, however, denied the allegations and instead accused her of drug abuse.
Rollas’ comments have added another layer to the unfolding controversy, drawing intense reactions from fans and industry observers as the situation continues to unfold.
