Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has raised alarm over the alleged arrest of her brother and sister amid a deepening marital crisis with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The development comes just days after multiple reports claimed that Daniels had filed for divorce, citing domestic violence. In response, Senator Nwoko allegedly accused the 24-year-old actress of substance abuse, intensifying the public drama surrounding their marriage.
In a series of emotional posts shared on her Instagram story on Monday, Regina claimed that her husband ordered the arrest of her siblings in what she described as an attempt to coerce her into returning to a rehabilitation centre.
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. My big brother and big sister have been arrested, and my baby sister might be next unless I go back to rehab,” she wrote.
The actress further expressed frustration over the ongoing dispute, questioning her husband’s actions and his public allegations against her.
“You said I’m a drug addict. What other name can you call me? Must things get this ugly just because partners no longer want to be together?” she added.
As of the time of filing this report, Senator Nwoko has not publicly responded to the latest allegations regarding the arrests. Efforts to reach his media representatives were unsuccessful.
