Sammy Daniels, the younger brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail of ₦5 million after spending several days in detention.
According to reports, Sammy was released on Monday, November 10, 2025, following a court ruling that approved his bail application.
He was earlier remanded in Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday before being transferred to Suleja Prison, where he remained until his release.
Celebrating the development, Regina’s elder brother, who goes by @Sweezzy1 on Instagram, shared a message expressing gratitude to supporters.
“Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
Sammy’s arrest reportedly followed a petition filed by Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ husband, amid their ongoing marital dispute.
The development adds another layer to the growing controversy between Nwoko and the actress, which has drawn widespread public attention over allegations ranging from domestic abuse to drug-related claims.
As of press time, neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Nwoko has publicly commented on Sammy’s bail.
