Nollywood actress Regina Daniels posted a raw, emotional video on her Instagram Story in the early hours of Friday, saying she has reached a breaking point in a family crisis.
In the clip the actress shared, she appears tearful and distraught, telling viewers: “I give up.” She added that she feels mentally and emotionally overwhelmed.
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Regina said in the video.
The post followed an earlier update on Thursday in which the actress celebrated the reconciliation of her parents. Regina described their reunion as a goodwill gesture motivated solely by concern for her wellbeing.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote in that post.
Regina also said her parents are in Abuja, where they are reportedly cooperating to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who she says has been detained for several days.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she wrote, adding urgency to her appeal.
The actress’s posts reflect growing tension and emotional strain within the family. Neither authorities nor representatives for the family have issued a public statement about Sammy’s alleged detention as of this report.
