Nigerian comedian and entertainer Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, achieved another international milestone with a sold-out edition of her comedy show, Unapologetically Me, in the United States.
The event took place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Grand Occasions Laurel in Maryland. It attracted a lively mix of Africans in the diaspora and American fans, who enjoyed an evening filled with comedy, storytelling, and music.
The Maryland outing follows earlier successful editions of Unapologetically Me in the United Kingdom, Ghana, Warri, and Abuja. The show was supported by several brands, including Finserve, Jollof Etcetera, AfroJamz Network, Buchymix, 1Luv Foods, and Axiom Consults.
In July 2024, Real Warri Pikin hosted the fifth edition of the show in Abuja, where over 3,000 fans filled the This Day Dome. That edition featured performances from Nigerian music stars Peruzzi and Reekado Banks, alongside comedians Funny Timo, MC Royal, Zigabella, Freemouth, and MC Yanis.
Organized by RWP Entertainment, Unapologetically Me is now firmly positioned as a global comedy brand, with more shows planned across the U.K., U.S., and Canada.
With each stop, Real Warri Pikin continues to cement her reputation as one of Africa’s leading comedic voices, resonating with audiences far beyond Nigeria.
