Questions are mounting over whether the law was followed — or broken, in the detention of five Nairobi Hospital board members this weekend.
Among those in custody are Vice Chairman Samson Kinyanjui, veteran obstetrician Dr Job Obwaka, and former board chairman Dr Chris Bichage, alongside board members Valary Gaya and Professor John Mwero.
Their families, doctors, and opposition leaders are calling it not an arrest, but an abduction.
