Nollywood actress Queeneth Agbor has dismissed persistent rumours suggesting she slept her way to stardom, insisting she would never compromise her values for fame.
In an interview with journalists, Agbor explained that she prioritizes personal peace over public debate. “Over the years, I’ve learnt to protect my inner peace like my life depends on it. I block social media dramas and refuse to address false narratives because, honestly, how many times can I correct lies?” she said.
Addressing the outrageous claims about her personal life, Queeneth shared that some stories left her baffled. “I’ve read things that even shocked me. I heard I’ve been married twice with kids, dated someone’s husband for 20 years, and even dated a 90-year-old man, at what age? Nine? Lol. I’m not correcting misconceptions; it’s their headache, not mine,” she added.
Reflecting on a pivotal experience in her career, the actress recounted a moment with a major producer who pursued her. “I was frustrated, but my values wouldn’t allow me to cross that line. I sought counsel from my late mum, who prayed and advised me. She even sent me money to get him a drink, telling me to ask him to bless me as my industry father. That moment strengthened my resilience, and it shapes my career to this day,” Agbor said.
She further emphasized her commitment to self-respect, stating, “I love myself too much to negotiate peace. The moment I sense toxicity, I’m out even before confirming if it’s real or just an oversight.”
