Fast-rising Afrobeats star Qing Madi has shared why she chooses to keep her financial status out of the spotlight, despite her growing success in the music industry.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the Tea with Tay podcast, the singer explained that her decision is intentional, driven by a desire to avoid being defined by wealth rather than her artistry.
According to Qing Madi, maintaining privacy around her finances allows her to stay grounded and focused on her music. She noted that while financial independence gives her greater control over her creative direction, it does not shield her entirely from industry pressures.
