Controversial Anambra-based cleric Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, has stirred debate after daring other pastors to a public miracle competition.
During a recent service, the flamboyant preacher proclaimed himself “the greatest pastor in the world,” claiming that no other spiritual leader rivals his abilities or supernatural power.
“All the pastors in the world know that I am the greatest. Nobody reaches me,” Odumeje declared.
“If you say I am not greater than you, come out for a challenge. Come out, let us do miracles. I have extra power for competition. I have extra power for ‘incase of incasity’.”
Known for his theatrical preaching style and bold statements, Odumeje said he possesses extraordinary powers, some of which he has yet to demonstrate publicly.
His announcement has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with many questioning both his claims and the motives behind issuing such a challenge.
The preacher’s remarks underscore his penchant for dramatic declarations and continue to fuel online discussions about the boundaries of spiritual displays and public faith-based competitions in Nigeria.
