President Bola Tinubu will embark on a three-state tour as part of his festive season schedule, the Presidency announced. According to a statement from the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga, the President will depart Abuja on Saturday for Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States.
In Borno State, President Tinubu will commission key projects executed by Governor Babagana Zulum in partnership with the Federal Government. He is also slated to attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Governor Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his fiancée, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, the President will proceed to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the government and family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a prominent Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who passed away on November 27.
After Bauchi, President Tinubu will travel to Lagos, where he will spend the end-of-year holidays and participate in several festive engagements. He is scheduled to serve as the guest of honour at the Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.
The festival will celebrate notable figures, including the President’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former Lagos governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
The three-state tour highlights President Tinubu’s commitment to engaging with communities, supporting development initiatives, and participating in cultural and social events during the festive season.
