President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
This was confirmed in an official statement on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. The broadcast is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. and will be carried live on all major television and radio stations across the country.
“All television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are urged to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast,” the statement read.
