President William Ruto on Monday said Nyanza will be central to his 2027 re-election bid, even as he sharpened his attacks against opposition leaders during the fourth day of his development tour of the region.
Speaking in Migori and Homa Bay counties, the President dismissed claims that he was squandering time campaigning in a region whose residents may not support him in the next General Election.
