Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has reignited his public dispute with Queen Dammy, accusing her of denying their alleged renewed relationship during a recent TikTok live session.
The pair previously parted ways in December 2024 following a heated social media exchange that played out publicly. At the time, Portable drew criticism after making disparaging remarks about Ibadan, Oyo State — Queen Dammy’s hometown — claiming he had improved her living conditions by renting an apartment for her in another city. The comments sparked backlash from some indigenes, who subsequently barred him from performing in Ibadan.
The controversy appeared to fade in early 2025. However, tensions resurfaced this week after Queen Dammy, widow of the late Lamide Adeyemi III, stated during a TikTok live session with streamer Salo that Portable was no longer part of her life.
In response, Portable shared a video on social media alleging that they had reconciled privately after their earlier fallout. He claimed they agreed to keep their relationship off social media but said he felt betrayed by her public remarks.
The singer further alleged that he continues to provide for her accommodation and insisted that they were together shortly before her online statement denying any ongoing relationship.
Queen Dammy has not publicly responded to Portable’s latest claims as of press time.
The renewed exchange has once again drawn attention to the duo’s turbulent relationship, which has frequently unfolded in the public eye.
