Social media influencer Popoola Joke has publicly expressed gratitude to Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy, for a ₦6 million cash gift she says played a major role in her relocation to the United Kingdom.
Joke shared her appreciation in a post on X, months after the donation first drew attention online. The gesture followed a viral moment in May 2025, when she tagged Don Jazzy in a playful post asking fans to request ₦1 million from celebrities.
Don Jazzy initially responded by sending her ₦1 million. However, after noticing that her account balance stood at just ₦67, he later added another ₦5 million, joking that the balance looked “unhealthy.” The act sparked widespread praise and discussion across social media platforms.
In her latest update, Joke revealed that the support proved life-changing, helping her successfully move abroad.
“I’m truly grateful to @DONJAZZY. The support I received played a big role in this journey, and today I’m in the UK. Thank you for the impact and for changing lives. God bless you always, Sir,” she wrote.
