British broadcaster and outspoken Arsenal fan, Piers Morgan, has lavished praise on five of the Gunners’ summer recruits following their 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
A Martín Zubimendi brace and a strike from Viktor Gyökeres secured the win that sent Mikel Arteta’s side top of the Premier League.
Taking to X after the game, Morgan hailed Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyökeres, Eberechi Eze, Martín Zubimendi, and Cristhian Mosquera, describing their performances as “superb.”
“Brilliant performance by an exhilarating Arsenal… fuelled by new signings Madueke, Gyokeres, Eze, Zubimendi and Mosquera,” Morgan posted.
“All of them were superb. We’re playing with pace, flair and power again… so great to watch. Loved it.”
The victory moved Arsenal to nine points from four matches, though they could be overtaken if Liverpool beat Burnley later on Saturday.
