Former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, has backed the Gunners to emerge as Premier League champions this season, citing their consistency, depth, and squad unity as key strengths.
Arsenal currently sit at the top of the Premier League table heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures, maintaining strong momentum under manager Mikel Arteta. The North London side has finished as runners-up for the past three consecutive seasons, but Cech believes this could finally be their breakthrough year.
Speaking to Tribal Football, the former Czech international expressed confidence in Arsenal’s title credentials.
“Arsenal has a really huge chance [to win the title] this season,” Cech said.
“All their rivals are having ups and downs in form, while the Gunners are managing to win even the tough games and have built a lead.
“Their Champions League campaign could also give them a boost. The squad has been together for quite a while.
“They have got quality on the bench, too. So I think they have a big chance to finally go all the way this time.”
Cech’s endorsement adds to growing belief among pundits and supporters that Arsenal have developed the resilience and depth required to end their long wait for a Premier League crown.
